Concourse Terminal 1 Building – Dubai International Airport

Terminal 1 of the Dubai International Airport connects to the new Sheikh Rashid Terminal (concourse) which opened in April 2000, and is used for most commercial flights to Dubai. Its passenger capacity was increased to about 25 million passengers per year. Prior to the opening of the Sheikh Rashid Terminal, the Terminal 1 building was also the concourse for flight arrivals and departures.

Royal Airwing Hangars – Dubai International Airport

Royal Airwing Hangar complex at the Dubai International Airport in the UAE measures 600 x 110 x 30 meters and is the world’s largest aircraft hangar. The massive complex is now home to the Dubai ruling family’s private aircraft. The open-span, eight-bay Royal Airwing Hangar is 600 metres wide and 110 metres deep, and will hold up to eight aircraft. At the front, the hangar has eight sets of doors that span 584 meters, each of which is 25.8 meters high.
