At Tiger Steel Engineering, we recognize occupational health as an integral part of our business performance, our employees emerging as the heart of our technical capabilities. Being committed to taking all reasonable precautions to avoid unnecessary risks to our employees’ safety and health, we have managed to improve our processes and controls over the years, by investing capital to increase efficiency and fostering a culture of resourcefulness and accountability.

The high standards we are aiming to achieve are promoted and implemented through our ‘Health, Safety and Environment Management System’. As an acknowledgement of our efforts in this direction, the Higher Corporation for Specialized Economic Zones (ZonesCorp) has certified Tiger Steel`s Environment, Health and Safety Management System (EHSMS) for its compliance with the Abu Dhabi Industrial Sector Regulatory Codes of Practice. This certification has involved the development of an Integrated Management System (IMS) to comply with the requirements of the industrial sector`s EHSMS framework.

The risk-based safety management system has been put in place to provide a frame-work for self-regulation and continuous performance improvement, while enabling a comprehensive approach to identifying hazards through analysis, risk assessment, environmental audit, and regular site inspections.

Moreover, various health and safety training programs and campaigns have been developed to promote industry best practice and raise safety awareness, aiming to avoid any accidents and incidents that have a harmful impact on employees, assets and the environment. Also, by adopting a proactive safety culture, different accident categories have been reduced to a minimum.

As protection of the environment has become a key priority of Tiger Steel Engineering, we are committed to continued compliance to all environmental regulations. Proactive measures have been taken to reduce the impact of our production activities on the environment, by using the best available techniques that prevent environmental pollution and reducing generation and accumulation of waste products during production and consumption.
